About Us

Our mission

Our mission is to provide trouble teens, age 13-17, a safe Christian environment where they can learn to overcome their adversities and develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually while promoting family reconciliation.

Services offered

Counseling
Troubled teenagers are usually unable to respond properly to authority figures and cannot relate constructively to peers. To deal with these problems, House of Hope Wichita provides a loving, stable environment in which clients are encouraged and taught to accept responsibility, respect authority and relate effectively to peers and adults. This is accomplished through intensive group, family and individual counseling, and strong spiritual guidance designed to heal fractured family relationships. We currently provide non-residential counseling services on a sliding scale fee based on yearly income. For more information on the cost of services, please call us at 316-737-HOPE.

Hopeful Parenting Classes
Parents often need help with the ever-changing challenges of parenting. These classes give understanding about why children do what they do as well as tools for parents to guide them in a way that is productive for the child and the family.
House of Hope Wichita typically offers these classes on an “as-requested” basis. If you are interested in having these classes taught at your church, school or other organization, please contact us at 316-737-4673.

Hopeful Leadership Classes
Leading young people can be a struggle. Every teen, their family and their home environment are different. In these classes we address what makes young people tick, positive ways to influence them and how to use wisdom in dealing with the various situations those working with youth often find themselves in.
If you are interested in attending a Hopeful Leadership class or hosting one at your church, school or other organization, please contact us at 316-737-4673.

Internet Safety 101:Empowering Parents Program
In this ever-changing world, parents remain the first line of defense in protecting children against Internet dangers. Unfortunately, parents are often uninformed or ill-equipped to deal with the evolving issues of Internet safety and need credible outside help. As the nation’s leading Internet safety organization since 1994, Enough is Enough responded to this call-to-action by creating the Internet Safety 101: Empowering Parents program to help parents prevent their children from falling victim to online dangers.

Internet Safety 101 targets its resources and materials directly into the homes and hands of parents and childcare givers through both traditional and online multimedia resources. The program will point parents towards the best resources that offer specific Internet safety topics and resources tailored for specific age groups.

The series includes victim testimonials, guidelines from enforcement/field experts, expertise from EIE President Donna Rice Hughes, and tips and tools from industry leaders.

House of Hope Wichita is currently offering this dynamic program on an “as-requested” basis. If you are interested in this program for your church, school or other organization, please contact us at 316-737-4673
